6th Annual Juneteenth at East Haven

Join us for a powerful and joyful Juneteenth celebration at the historic East Haven grounds. This year’s theme centers on honoring our ancestors through music and spirituality and how we used it to move through time and space.

The program begins with a warm meet and greet, followed by the traditional pouring of libations to honor our ancestors.

Guests will enjoy, Live music by Chapter 3 Band, a keynote address, cultural performances, games, and a community prayer before sharing a delicious meal.

We’ll also have breaks to announce raffle winners and give thanks to everyone who helped bring this experience to life.

The day will conclude with a heartfelt ceremony of gratitude to honor the enduring presence and wisdom of our ancestors.
