5th Annual Juneteenth at East Haven

Time: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM ( program starts at 3:00)

Join us for a powerful and joyful Juneteenth celebration at the historic East Haven grounds. This year’s theme centers on honoring our ancestors through sacred rituals, cultural expression, and community fellowship.

The program begins with a warm meet and greet, followed by the traditional pouring of libations to invite the spirit and guidance of our ancestors.

Guests will enjoy, Live music by Zach’s Band, a keynote address, cultural performances, games, and a community prayer before sharing a delicious meal.

We’ll also have breaks to announce raffle winners and give thanks to everyone who helped bring this experience to life.

The day will conclude with a heartfelt ceremony of gratitude to honor the enduring presence and wisdom of our ancestors.
